| I walked down the streets, swirving in and out of dark alleys, looking for the only thing that makes the bat tick: Jim Gordon. I knew that once I got to the station, I could find Gordon and signal the batman. I only had once thing left out of my plan. I pulled my lucky coin out of my pocket, and flipped it in the air. I stood outside of the police station, smiling with what was left of my face. I walked up the stairs, into the building. 30 minutes later I threw Gordon face down on the roof. "Turn on the light!" I told him. He got up and switched on the flood light that was the signal for batman. "Get out of here." I told him. He walked downt he stairs back to the station. He can't be trusted. I told myself, jamming the door with a chair that had been seated in front of the light. "He'll be here soon." I said aloud. | |

| Barbara Gordon sat at the kitchen table , the faint light from the overhaning shining down on her 11th grade honors english homework . Babs sighed and tapped her pencil again the worn wood of the table . She glanced up at the clock, it was past ten and her father still wasn't home . Sure he stayed out past ten a lot on work , but he always called to tell her . She slid out of her chair and shoved the unfinished homework in her purple and black book bag . She smiled to herself as she ran up the stairs.
The door to her bedroom swung open and slammed against her wall as she ran into her closet . She pulled away the piles of clothing and grabbed out her Batgirl costume . She held it in her hand for a moment and admired the work that had gone into making it, then Babs grabbed her cowl and her belt and began taking off her sweats and PASA t-shirt . Her costume slid on with ease, her belt clicked as she snapped it around her thin waste . She looked at herself in the mirror for a moment and pulled on her cowl .
Babs was off now, her bedroom window wide open and her held grasping onto her grapling gun as tight as she could . She would defend the city later , now she needed to check onher father , and find out why the batsignal lit up the Gotham night sky .
Her heart raced , Babs loved doing this every night it got her adrenalin pumping . She landed lightly in the ally by the police station . She scaled up the building and looked over the edge to watch the scene ahead . Two-Face stood there , waiting , waiting for Batman . Babs jumped up onto the roof and hid behind the doorway down from the roof . " God babs what have you done now ? " She whispered to herself . Should she wait for Batman , or act now ? She pondered on this , but her eye's never left Two-Face .

| I chuckled under my breath. The faint sound of air, yet noone around. Or noone I could see. The fact that I wasn't being beaten to a pulp only meant one thing: Batgirl. I took out my lucky coin, and flipped it in the air. Heads. "Looky here. You live to fight another day, Batgirl." I said aloud. I continued to gaze at the floodlight in the sky, as I wasn't sure of where she was hiding. "Isn't it past your bedtime?" I asked the air infront of me. | |

| Barbara smiled to herself and moved through the shadows as she let her words slip into the crisp night air , " Listen Two-Face I don't enjoy the games you so like to play . So let's get straight to the point , why are you up here and why is the floodlight on ? " She hid, she didn't want to loose the one upper-hand she had . She crowched down and set herself up to attack . Tucking her firey red hair behind her ear Barbara prayed that Batman wouldn't show up and ruien her moment . Him or Robin the pesky little kid .... | |

| I smirked with te living side of my face. I held my revolver in the air. "Noone is gonna die tonight. I just needed to..talk with Batman." I said, still looking ahead. I quickly turned around to face the door. "Or maybe you want another try?" With my free hand I held my coin in the air. | |

| " I think I like the way the coin landed the first time Dent . " Barbara said as she shifted around Harvey , hidden in the shadows . She positioned herself in a lung ready to attack at any moment , like a cat . She had her hand on her belt and listened for Harvey to reply . Her eye's shifted over the scene , shifted over Dent's eye's as he watched steadily fo rher to make a mistake . | |

| " Shit . " Barbara murmered aloud . " Look Batman has better things to do with his night that tangle with you , I on the other hand don't . " Barbara said slightly louder this time . After a moment she lunged through the darkness at where Dent was . She took in the sounds of his breath and hoped and prayed her jump side kick would land on him . | |

| I was kicked in the gut, and flew back into the wall. I laughed. "Finally." I said. I lunged at Batgirl and slapped her in the face with my revolver. | |

She listend for a moment then pounced again turning and sending her heel in the direction of Harvey , she wasn;t sure where it would hit she just hoped it would . She pulled out her batarangs and held them tightly in her hand as she steadied her breaths and quieted herself .

| I kneed her in the gut, and broke free. "I don't want the Batsy anymore. You see, I realized I can find many things about the Batman from you....You already told me who you are. I turned to walk away, but tripped against the wall. I felt my head, and had a bump on it. "Your dead." I told her. I held my gun towards her, and flipped my coin in the air. | |

| An elbow plowed into my gut. I got mad, and took my coin back. I shoved it back into my suit. Getting into my boxer stance, I punched her in the gut. "Gordon still has a bullet in his knee." | |
